During August, Clover Mama Afrika and Eqstra Flexi Fleet hosted a competition where two of the 36 Clover Mamas stood a chance to win R100 000 each to assist them with their projects. The lucky draw took place on Saturday 10 August on Ontbytsake by Prof Elain Vlok from Clover Mama Afrika and Walter Hill, Chief Executive Officer of Eqstra Holding.

This is a great way for Mamas Daphne Oliphant from Roodewal and Gladys Siyothula from Dobsonville to celebrate Women’s Month. These Mamas are the two lucky winners of R100 000 each. The official handover will be held at Eqstra Holding and will be broadcasted on Ontbytsake (KykNet) Saturday 21 September.

In the meantime, there is a lot of planning to be done by the Mamas and the Clover Mama Afrika Trust on how the Mamas’ winnings will be spent at their respective centres and self-help projects.
