A guide to recycling and packaging in South Africa

Recyclable waste should be separated as near to source (preferably home) as possible. This limits the costs of labour and machinery associated with sorting after collection and will prevent recyclables, like paper, being soiled by wastes such as food. Once paper or cardboard is soiled, it cannot be recycled. Other items, if soiled, will have to be cleaned before being recycled.

Clover shines again at SA Dairy Championships

The annual South African Dairy Championships is one of Agri-Expo’s most prestigious events. This year, eighty independent judges were called on to appraise 975 dairy products from 74 producers. The winning products are crowned SA Champions and only a few products are awarded the celebrated Qualité Mark of Excellence.
