terms and conditions
Please read these competition rules carefully. These competition rules (“rules”) explain your rights and duties in connection with this competition. If you take part in this competition or accept any prize, these rules will apply to you and you agree that the promoter(s) can assume that you have read and have agreed to be legally bound these competition rules.

- In these rules we refer to Clover S.A. (Pty) Ltd as “the promoter(s)”, or “us” or “we”. We will refer to participants and winners as “you”.
How this competition works?
Qualifying participants are eligible to enter this competition and will automatically be entered into the relevant draw(s) by simply:
- Each month a new Classic SA category in line with the USSD competition will be announced on social media:
- Phase 1: Fans will be introduced to the competition and asked to prove that they are #ClassicSA by engaging on the Official Clover Classic Facebook page below the Facebook posts calling for it. Engagement on Facebook can consist of: voting, nominating, sharing, posting, commenting.
- Phase 2: Top submissions are presented to the community, who will vote for their favourite in each category. Based on results of the polls, the grand prize will be put together.

The competition starts on 1 October 2016 and ends at 12am midnight on 28 February 2017. No late entries will be accepted.

The winners of the Instant Prizes will be drawn daily.
Grand Prize
The winner of the Grand Prize will be drawn within 2 (two) business weeks after the end of the competition.
The promoter(s) reserve the right to extend the competition or change the draw dates. Notice of this will be posted in these rules.

Each Entrant stand a chance to win the following:
Instant Prizes
- Each Entrant stand a chance to win 1 of 500 customised /generic aprons:
- Winners of the customized/generic apron will receive an inbox message on Facebook notifying the entrant that they are winner. Winners will be provided with a unique code and a link, where entrants will have to click on and be directed to the apron booking form.
- The apron booking form will ask each winner to select either a personalised apron by ticking the apron and entering the name they would like to be on the apron or to select a generic apron.
- Winners will need to enter the following details on the aprons booking form in the fields provided: Name, Email, Contact number, delivery address during work hours and the unique code supplied on the Facebook message.
- Winners will need to tick the Terms & Conditions box as acknowledgement and acceptance and click submit.
- An email will be sent to the winners as confirmation that the order has successfully been completed.
- Unique code received can only be redeemed once and are valid for 90 days.
Note:
- Delivery is 7-10 working days (excludes SAT and SUN) from submission of order.
- Delivery address must be a working address, or an address with a dedicated reception, to receive the parcel anytime between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
- Should someone other than yourself be receiving the parcel at the address on your behalf, please supply them with a signed letter of permission.
- Please make yourself available to receive a call from an unknown number which could be the courier (The Courier Guy), calling with regarding your parcel. Should you not have received your apron for some reason within the 10 working days. Please phone the Clover customer careline: 0860 11 75 33 or email SocialMedia.Classic@www.clover.co.za referencing your UNIQUE code received.
- Each Entrant stand a chance to win 1 of 10 Custard supply for a year:
- Winners of the supply of custard for a year will receive an inbox message on Facebook notifying the entrant that they are winner.
- Winners will be requested to submit the following valid details: Name, Email, Contact number, delivery address during work hours.
- The supply of Custard for a year will be limited to 8 cases of Clover Classic Custard 1L. This compromises of 48 Classic Custard 1L units.
- Winners will receive a once off delivery of the Classic Custard 1L.
- Winners cannot re-sell any of the Classic Custard 1L won or exchange the Classic Custard 1L for any monetary value.
Note:
- Delivery is 20- 30 working days (excludes SAT and SUN) from submission of delivery information.
- Delivery address must be a working address, or an address with a dedicated reception, to receive the parcel anytime between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
- Should someone other than yourself be receiving the parcel at the address on your behalf, please supply them with a signed letter of permission.

Should you not have received your custard for some reason within the 30 working days. Please phone the Clover customer careline: 0860 11 75 33 or email SocialMedia.Classic@www.clover.co.za referencing your name and number.
Grand Prize
- Each Entrant stand a chance to win 1 of 5 Ultimate Classic South African Experiences:
- The make-up of the Grand Prize: the Ultimate South African Experience will be based on the on the votes submitted by Entrants for the categories: word, food, activity, places and music.
- Winners must be available to travel on the dates supplied by the Promoter, but not later than 1 (one) year after the end of the competition.
- the Ultimate South African Experience as voted for by Entrants is subject to availability of bookings at the destination, places, flights, activities, food. The Promotor may in its sole discretion alter such bookings as it deem fit.
- The Ultimate South African Experience is not transferrable for cash.
- All spending money is for the winners own account and no cash will be handed over to the winner.
- By entering this Competition, the Entrants consent to take part in any publicity campaigns at no further compensation to such Entrant. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of CLOVER SA.
- Winner will be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity before claiming his/her prize.
- The prize winner must be over 18 years of age and fit to travel.
Eligibility:
Who qualifies to take part?
The competition is open to all South African residents in possession of a valid identity document.
The following persons may only take part under these circumstances:
Any participant who are under the age of 18 (eighteen) (referred to as minors) are only allowed to take part in the competition and receive a prize if their parent or legal guardian gives them the required legal consent and assistance to do so.
Who cannot take part?
No director, employee, agent or consultant of the Clover Group of Companies or any of the rewards companies or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, or the supplier of goods and services in connection with this competition may participate.
Is there a limit on the number of times you can enter?
There is no limit on the amount of entries per participant.
However, a participant can only win one prize.
Please note: even though customers may be entered multiple times during the competition, they are only allowed to win one prize per customer. If the same person wins more than one prize in respect of the draw the promoters will draw an alternative winner.
How will winner(s) be chosen?
Instant Prizes
All winners will be selected randomly by an electronically generated draw
Grand Prize
All winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Promotor
How will the winners be notified?
The 5 winners of the grand prize will be notified by telephone within 2 (two) working days after the draw date. If a representative of the promotor cannot get hold of you at the mobile it has on record for you after attempting to do so at least 5 (five) times within a 72-hour period you will forfeit the prize and another winner will be drawn.
Deadline for claiming prize(s):
Important
If a prize winner does not claim their prize within 30 (thirty) days after they have been notified the prize winner will forfeit (give up) any right to such prize.
General
- The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The unique code can only be used once.
- The Promoters’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Promoter and any of the rewards companies reserve the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
- The Promoter and any of the rewards companies reserve the right to request a copy of the till slip proving that the consumer has purchased the Classic’s product if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
- In the event that the promotional offer is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the offer, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the offer of equal value.
- Competition participants will not be required to take part in media, marketing and promotional appearances related to this competition. Participants however, agree that they will not be entitled to any payment for participating in this Competition, or for participating in any media format or appearances associated with this Competition if they agree to take part in such media, marketing and promotional appearances
- The Promoter shall have the right to terminate the competition immediately and without notice for any reason beyond its control requiring this. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter, its agents and staff
- The participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules
- The Promotor reserves the right to amend this Competition rules as it deems fit. Any amendments to the rules will be published on the relevant website.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- You agree to indemnify the promoter(s) fully for any loss or damage the promoter(s) may suffer because you breached the competition rules.
- Under this entire clause “indemnify” means you agree to reimburse the promoter(s) for the following: any loss or damage they suffer, any expenses and costs they paid or are responsible for. Legal costs means costs on an attorney and own client scale.
- You also agree to indemnify the promoter(s) for any loss or damage you suffered because you took part in this competition or used the prize. If you enter the competition, or use or accept the prize, you understand that you do so of your own free will. This means that you cannot hold the promoter(s) legally responsible for any loss or damage or legal expenses you suffered because you took part in this competition or used the prize.
- You furthermore agree to indemnify the promoter(s) fully for any loss, damage, claim, or injury that may occur because of the use of the prize or your inablity to use the prize for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, loss, death or financial damages caused to any person other than yourself.
- You therefore agree that you cannot hold the promoter(s) legally responsible for any loss or damage or legal expenses or medical expenses you suffered caused because you used the prize.
- You will protect the promoter(s) from being held legally responsible for the loss or damage or legal expenses of another person (legal or natural) if such loss or damage or expense was incurred because:
- you breached the competition rules;
- you took part in this competition; and/or
- you or any person used a prize.
