terms and conditions

  • The Competition is promoted by Clover S.A. (Pty) Ltd(“Clover”).
  • The competition is open to all South African Residents above the age of 18 who are in possession of a valid identity document, except directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the promoter or marketing service providers in respect of the promotional competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  • This competition opens Monday, 10 April 2017, and closes midnight Sunday, 30 April 2017. Any entries received after midnight on the last day will not be valid and not be considered.

Spot Prizes: Classic Hampers

  • To enter to stand a chance to win a Spot Prize, participants must comment using photos or videos in the comment section below the post calling for entries on the Classic Facebook page.
  • There is no limit to the number of photos or video a participant may enter. However, with each photo entry, execution must be unique and completely different.
  • Only original unpublished photos and video are eligible for entry. By participating in the Competition each participant certifies that his/her entry is original, has not been previously published or won any award, and does not contain any material that would violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks or rights or privacy or publicity.
  • [10] lucky winners stand a chance to win a Classic Hamper.
  • The Classic social media community manager and brand manager will select the winners based on the following criteria: Originality (50%) and Creativity (50%). Their decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Closing dates and times for comments on individual posts will be indicated in the post.

Grand Prize:5 x Custard for a year

  • To enter to stand a chance to win your share of 5 Custard for a year hampers, participants must comment using photos or videos in the comment section below the post calling for entries on the Classic Facebook page.
  • There is no limit to the number of times a participant may enter. However, with each photo entry, execution must be unique and completely different.
  • Only original unpublished photos and video are eligible for entry. By participating in the Competition each participant certifies that his/her entry is original, has not been previously published or won any award, and does not contain any material that would violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks or rights or privacy or publicity.
  • [5] lucky winners stand a chance to win one hamper of Custard for a Year each.
  • Winners of the supply of custard for a year will receive an inbox message on Facebook notifying the entrant that they are winner.
  • Winners will be requested to submit the following valid details: Name, Email, Contact number, delivery address during work hours.
  • The supply of Custard for a year will be limited to 8 cases of Clover Classic Custard 1L. This compromises of 48 Classic Custard 1L units.
  • Winners cannot re-sell any of the Classic Custard 1L won or exchange the Classic Custard 1L for any monetary value.
  • The Classic social media community manager and brand manager will select the winners based on the following criteria: Originality (50%) and Creativity (50%). Their decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prize Draws:

Spot Prizes: Winners will be drawn and announced weekly, as announced on Facebook posts.
Grand Prize: Winner will be drawn two weeks after the closing of the competition, and announced upon the finalization of all admin relating to claiming and delivery of prizes.

 

Delivery of Prizes:

  • Delivery is 20- 30 working days (excludes SAT and SUN) from submission of delivery information.
  • Delivery address must be a working address, or an address with a dedicated reception, to receive the parcel anytime between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
  • Should someone other than yourself be receiving the parcel at the address on your behalf, please supply them with a signed letter of permission.
  • Please make yourself available to receive a call from an unknown number which could be the courier (The Courier Guy/BEX), calling with regarding your parcel. Should you not have received your custard for some reason within the 30 working days. Please phone the Clover customer careline: 0860 11 75 33 or email SocialMedia.Classic@www.clover.co.za referencing your name and number.​

 

  • Prizes are not exchangeable for cash and not transferable and all winners must claim their prize within 14 days after being notified by supplying the requested information, and failure to claim the prize or a refusal or inability to comply herewith will disqualify the winners and a new winner will be drawn in their place at the sole discretion of Clover.
  • Clover reserves the right to request that images taken of the winners or staff be used for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without any further remuneration being made payable to the winners, which request the winners may decline.
  • Clover shall have the right to terminate the competition immediately and without notice for any reason beyond its control requiring this. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter, its agents, and staff.
  • Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules
  • The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
