625 ml self-raising flour
2 ml salt
50 ml digestive bran
250 ml soft brown sugar
125 ml seedless raisins
375 ml Clover Fresh Full Cream Milk
To serve:
Clover Butro Butter Spread
Preheat oven to 190°C.
Sift flour and salt together.
Mix in all other ingredients.
Pour mixture into a greased and lined 23 cm loaf tin and bake for 50 – 55 minutes.
Serve hot with butter.
Variation
The raisins give a sweet taste to this loaf, and they can be substituted with dates.
