Can I create more than one Event with the same email address?

Yes, you can create more than one event with the same email address. Please note, that you will receive email notifications for each event created to that same email address, so you will need to check the Event Name in the emails to distinguish between them.

Can I create another Event after my draw has passed?

Yes, you can. Please note, it will be a brand-new event and you will need to set it up from scratch and invite your participants to your new event.

Will my Secret Santa fulfill my entire Wishlist, or will all my Wishlist items be fulfilled by Clover?

Your Secret Santa will use your Wishlist as a guideline and may or may not select something from your Wishlist to purchase for you. It’s entirely up to them. Please note, Clover is not responsible for fulfilling your Wishlist item/s.

How many people can be in my Event?

As the Host of an Event, you can add as many participants as you like. Please note, there should be a minimum of three (3) participants per Event, for the automated participant matching logic to work.

How will I be allocated a Secret Santa?

The website will automatically pair participants together and as per the above question, there needs to be a minimum of three (3) participants per Event.

What happens if there is an odd number of people on my event?

The system will randomly match and pair the participants together and provided there are a minimum of three (3) participants in the Event, the system will assign each participant with a unique Secret Santa.

How do I set a budget/spend for my Event?

As the Host of an Event, you can set a “recommended” budget/spend when creating the Event. The Event participants should ideally adhere to this budget, so everyone “plays fairly”!

What if I want to spend less or more than the allocated amount?

The final spend is ultimately at your own discretion and there’s nothing stopping you from spending more or less than the recommended budget, but it may be frowned upon but your fellow participants...

Can I save a draft of my Wishlist?

Yes, and even up until the Event Draw Date, you can come back and edit it.

What is the “Event Date”?

This is the date which the Host of the Event sets, and is the date which all participants within the group will meet and exchange their Secret Santa gifts.
